The Olde Kids

The “Olde Kids” is a 19-piece dance band in the style of the big bands of the 30’s and 40’s. They recreate the glamour and romance of that era. Retired and semi-retired musicians are part of a resurgence of interests in live, glamorous and romantic music. A Fine Dance Studio

Come to be entertained by some of Needham’s best dancers. A Fine Dance Studio is Needham’s largest full-service competition dance studio. Ruach Israel Klezmer Band

The Ruach Israel Klezmer Band combines traditional Jewish, jazz and Eastern European musical styles to create the sounds of joy. Rarely does a performance end without the audience swaying, clapping and dancing to the infectious sounds of clarinet, trumpet, trombone bobbing and weaving over the strong rhythms of dumek (hand drum), bass, guitar and piano. Kirsten & Dave

Kirsten & Dave’s diverse backgrounds are the key to their success at performing a variety of musical styles. Whether they are playing acoustic pop, country, acoustic blues or folk/bluegrass, their love for music is obvious. Playing a variety of instruments, Kirsten & Dave swap off melodies and harmonies as they play a mix of covers and original tunes. They have many decades of performing experience between them and they have been playing together since 2002. Kirsten & Dave have a new holiday ep, At Christmastime, scheduled for release on Nov 8. The Payne Killers are local accomplished professionals who enjoy playing the jazz tunes of various artists including Coltrane, Miles, Wayne Shorter, Hank Mobley, Art Blakely among others. Dan & Faith met while students and began playing the dream inspired original folk music they are known for today. To play the songs they write, Dan plays guitar and harmonica; while Faith plays the mandolin, bass guitar, tenor banjo and the harmonica. Website

Jim Colliton

Jim Colliton has grown up in the suburbs and still lives with his wife and three children in the suburbs. What does he talk about? Jerry and the Great Experiment

Jerry and the Great Experiment features Jerry Wasserman with Bo Veaner, Bill Okerman and other music friends. Jerry’s songs are based on his rather unique view of the universe. Margaret Sargent and the Homegrown Coffeehouse Margaret Sargent

A NHS grad and now a junior at Colby College, Margaret has made several Homegrown Coffeehouse appearances. In addition to her solo performances, she has appeared in nearly two dozen stage productions. She released “Stories About Strangers,” her debut CD of original songs last summer.

Chris Pahud and the Homegrown Coffeehouse

Folk music and poetry in the round with host Chris Pahud and The Rounders.
